DAY TO DAY

Listed here is a diary describing how some of the time during the residency was spent. Also listed are the weeks chosen distractions, music, caffeine, spending money, sleeping in, and gardening. These distractions were eliminated from my week individually to study their power and influence on my work and personality.

Distractions are endless, I studied these distractions and forced confrontation with them. This helped me define some of the personal distractions I live with and gave me enough understanding about myself to consistently ask through the residency experience, 'what am I being distracted from?' This question was key in helping me search toward what I eventually felt was the true reason for my process driven conditioning.

I started working on it near the end of the residency. A piece of work titled Eternity, which I have not touched since, but am constantly reminded of and want to return to.
